DIY: Headband

DIYRaquel Busa2 Comments

Spring is right around the corner and I can't wait to rock headbands again! Here is a how I make my twist headbands.

Materials:

Sewing Machine

Jersey Knit Fabric

Fabric Chalk

Ruler

Scissors

Use the ruler and chalk to outline two 4 by 22 inch strips of fabric. Cute them out. I love this tie dye jersey knit fabric. If you're having trouble finding some, you can use a t-shirt.

Fold each strip over the long way and sew the raw edges together. I sewed about 1/4 inch from the edge. Turn the fabric inside out.

Cross the two pieces of fabric like the image above. Bring the edges of the fabric on the bottom together.

Join all four ends together and sew.

Turn the raw edge in when you wear your completed headband! Enjoy :)
